Woven badges

Woven badges are ideal for small lettering and detailed artwork. Your design is woven into the cloth, a backing is applied, and the badge is finished with an over-locked edge. For intricate shapes, the badge is hot-knife cut to shape, preventing the threads from fraying, and producing a flatter border.

Embroidered badges

Your artwork is embroidered onto a backing material, creating a raised look and tactile feel. The embroidered badge is then laser-cut to shape and finished with an over-locked edge. Alternatively, the badge can be hot-knife cut, leaving a border around the badge. A heat-applied backing is also available for embroidered badges.

About Nottingham Badges

Nottingham Badges began trading forty years ago in the historic Lace Market in Nottingham, supplying screen-printed tee-shirts and sweatshirts, and screen-printed badges and pennants. As the company grew, sales of garments and badges were formed into separate businesses; today, screen-printed tee-shirts, sweatshirts and other garments are provided by our sister company, Nottingham Screen Prints, while Nottingham Badges deals exclusively with badges, supplying thousands of bespoke woven and embroidered badges to a wide customer base.

As a small, family-run business, we provide a prompt and personal service to customers and aim to supply quality products at competitive prices. Initially, our badges were produced in-house or sourced locally. Our design studio still produces the final badge design for your approval but, as a result of the great advances in computer technology in recent years, we now out-source production from a long-established overseas supplier whose state-of-the-art computer-controlled looms and equipment allow us to continue to supply our customers at the very best prices.

Supply your own artwork, or, as part of our all-inclusive customer service, our studio can produce production-ready artwork from your ideas or rough sketches. Our ordering process is very simple and straightforward and, with our 40 years of experience of supplying badges to a wide range of customers, you can count on a first-rate personal service from Nottingham Badges.

We are confident that our prices are competitive when compared with quotes from other suppliers of top quality cloth badges, and we are proud to continue to offer our customers a friendly and personal service.
