Woven badges

Girlguiding Surrey West Winter Wonderland 2023 badge Girlguiding Sussex Central Cricket Event 2023 badge Fig Tree Primary School badge Andover Gymnastics Club badge

Woven badges are ideal for small lettering and fine detail. The design is woven into the cloth, a backing is applied, and the badge is finished with an overlocked border. For intricate shapes, the badge is hot-knife cut to shape, resulting in a flatter finish.

Embroidered badges

Harley Club Norfolk 2021 Member badge Southern England School of Karate badge Flight Inspection Badge badge Westella & Willerby Football Club badge

Your design is embroidered onto a backing material, creating a raised look and tactile feel. The badge is then laser-cut to shape and finished with an overlocked border. Alternatively, the badge can be hot-knife cut to shape to seal the thread ends, leaving a border around the badge. We can also supply badges with a heat-applied glue backing.

Girlguiding World Thinking Day 2024

World Thinking Day 2024

World Thinking Day, February 22nd, is a day of international friendship. The theme for 2024 — Our World, Our Thriving Future: The environment and global poverty — aims to encourage Girl Guides worldwide to explore the link between poverty and the environment.

We can adapt the above design to meet your needs, or we can produce badges from your own design ideas.

About Nottingham Badges

Nottingham Badges began trading in Nottingham’s Lace Market in 1977, supplying screenprinted tee-shirts, sweatshirts, and badges. In a few years, as the company grew, sales of garments and badges were formed into separate businesses. Nottingham Badges now supplies bespoke woven and embroidered badges to a wide customer base; our sister company, Nottingham ScreenPrints, manages the screenprinting business and sales of Fruit of the Loom leisurewear.

As a small, family-run business, we provide a prompt and personal service and aim to supply quality badges at competitive prices. Our design studio will send the final badge design for your approval but we now out-source production to an overseas supplier whose state-of-the-art equipment enables us to supply badges at very keen prices.

Use our Get a Quote page to send us your artwork, your rough sketches or ideas, and an indication of badge size and the quantity required, to receive our prompt response. We are confident that our prices are competitive compared with those of other suppliers of quality cloth badges.

We take pride in providing our customers with a friendly, personal service, and with our more than four decades of experience in the badges industry, you can be assured of a first-rate service from Nottingham Badges.
